I am a Certified Personal Trainer & women's fitness coach.


My love of fitness and movement started when I was 18 years old. This passion led me to get my CanFitPro Certified Personal Trainer certification, an NASM Certified Nutrition Coach designation and various other certificates and specializations. I specialize in strength training for women approaching or in peri/menopause.


For the past 33 years, I’ve worked with over clients across the world to help them achieve their strength, mobility, core stability, weight loss, general fitness and, balancing hormones goals.

My story.

I'd been in the fitness and health business as a trainer and coach for over 25 years when I began to experience hormone imbalance and perimenopausal symptoms in my mid 40's.


I was a new mom (my first and only child, a daughter, was born when I was 43 and in the best shape of my life) with a new baby at home, working as a head coach for a popular group fitness studio and was starting to wake up every morning dreading the day ahead and counting down the minutes until it was bedtime again.


I went from an on the go, incredibly energetic, strong, lean woman able to work out intensely and lift heavy weights most days of the week to feeling constantly sore with burning in my ankles and was gaining weight no matter what I did - even with all the workouts and not eating much at all.

Nothing was working. In fact I was gaining more weight in odd places that I never had before and was becoming more irritable by the day. 


Many days I just wanted a hole to appear and swallow me up! 


I had to make a choice.

I couldn’t keep going through life like that. I had to do something, anything to try and get better.


I owed it to my family.


I started doing research on my symptoms, especially my awful periods, weight gain and lack of muscle tone, and I found out that hormone imbalance led to every single symptom I’d been experiencing.


Now that I had a solid answer I felt better, but I  needed to know what to do about it, a natural way.


More research showed me the role that food, sleep, stress and even kinds of workouts played on my hormone health! I thought about my diet which was consisting of whatever I could grab quickly and at least 2 double double coffees a day with chips on the couch at night and lots of ready made dinners because I was too tired to cook.


I learned stress was wreaking havoc on my health I was lacking the vital nutrients and vitamins my body (and hormones!) truly needed to thrive!


I began to focus on eating the right portions and types of food, nourishing my body with what it needed (which wasn't more double doubles) and doing less when it came to intense workouts, not more.

What a difference this made!

In just a few weeks, I felt an incredible difference.


No more joint pain, I was sleeping better than I had in years, and I didn’t feel bloated or anything else.


Even better, the weight that clung to my midsection and lower back was going away without having to diet or cut calories.


I just focused on nourishing my body and giving it what it needed, and the change was amazing! 

Then a few years later I experienced the life changing joy through devoting my life to following Jesus Christ.

These experiences both served me to serve others more fully in two ways and gave me a gift.

A newfound purpose.


More than ever I’m on a path committed to help others by helping give the glory to God through his blessings and fulfilling my purpose of showing women the power they have to age with strength & grace.

I help women uncover their inner athlete and turn I can't into I can to enjoy a stronger, fitter, empowered and live a healthier life from the inside out.

And so after more than two decades I have come to specialize in women's only health and fitness, with a specialty in workouts and lifestyle changes for women approaching or in peri/menopause.


I want to help you enjoy the hormone health I discovered so you can live a life of joy, energy, and vibrancy too.

In addition to bringing you resources based on women's health research and workouts that WORK for you, I also have the personal experience to guide you and support you as you work to reach your health goals and reclaim your life!
